Can I buy less than a full truckload quantity from The Wiresource?
Yes you can, but why would you want to? Wiresource is capable of establishing programs for JIT release from any one of its 7 convenient stocking locations. Talk to your sales representative to explore which options may best suit your needs.

Since Wiresource is a distributor of wire, would I still have access to technical assistance from the mill should I need it?
The Wiresource works closely will all of the supplying mills to establish strict production procedures based upon each specific customer's requirements. This is often done with joint visits with the supplying mill to the customer's location, as well as reciprocal visits to the mill for technical sessions and or qualification audits.

How will I know whose wire I will be receiving from Wiresource?
The Wiresource leaves all identifying mill tags on the product for trace ability and lot identification. We are proud of our supplying mills and do not want to retag the product, which could lead to possible human error.

Why don't I just buy directly from the mill? I buy a lot of wire.
The Wiresource has established relationships with many of the supplying mills dating back as much as 20 years. Wiresource is often considered an extension of their sales efforts with national and international presence. The Wiresource also has exclusive rights to distribution for various mills within North America in an effort to expand their presence. Plus our volume purchasing should mean lower prices for our customers.

The Wiresource represents more than 40 mills throughout the world, how will I know that my material will always come from the same source?
Wiresource always establishes a supplying mill and puts into place rigid procedures in an attempt to guarantee consistency of the product to our customers. No substitutions would be made unless cleared first with the customer, prior to shipment.

My wire is coming from a mill 5,000 miles away, so how can I insure a timely delivery?
In addition to our domestic sources of supply, The Wiresource utilizes the capabilities of most of the premier mills in the world. Through it's sophisticated computer tracking system all inbound shipments are monitored daily and status updates can be provided to the customers as requested. On some products Wiresource maintains domestic inventory to insure JIT delivery for our customers.
